long ago did not put anything, eh I moved from city and work, then walked very busy eh. I still illustrating full time, but now live in the city of Guadalajara Mexico and at another house, another newspaper, every day illustrating various topics, up to now ah been great. I hope to find a way to show you something I've been doing over there later. This small book is personal, part of the series Bio amorphous, this is one of the ones I made in Mazatlan in my spare time away from work in my apartment.
It was a pleasure to work on the team Mr. Probst, mostly good special pages when they threw out there in conjunction with the designers, is very admirable work is being done out there among all these guys designers and girls together.

Pinewood Derby Wood Block Dimensions

This is an illustration that was published last week by the newspaper Noroeste. The concept was to represent the types of people distitnos referred to nullify their vote in the upcoming elections in Mexico. I tried to emphasize the variety of shapes and socialites, the technique was prismacolor white on black to offset the balance between black and white around the page, and help to give force or visual impact that the case demanded.

ascended Long time no nothing, eh gone working on many assignments that soon post them here. This is an illustration I did for a sports special report was published today in the newspaper Noroeste. From the beginning the idea was to give a kind look cover of comic book superheroes "in the design of the characters as typographic treatment of the title, giving depth and perspective to everything, but mostly a lot of movement and dynamism to the" super athletes ", so I preferred to hand inked para ayudar a darle mas fluidez al trazo, y posteriormente los colorie en Psd. y finalmente añadí el fondo en Ilustrador.

Its been a long time since i haven't posted anything, ive been working on so many stuff i will post later. This is an illustration I did for a special sports news article published today in the newspaper "Noroeste". From the beginning the idea was to give the art a look kind of superheroes comic strips, from the design of the characters as in The Treatment of the titles, to Give the sensation of depthness and perspective to everything, But Mainly Movement and Dynamism much to the "super super sportsmans and sportswomans", so I Decided to ink Theme by hand directly to the paper to help me catch more Fluidity in the traces, Them Then I painted on PSD, and finally added Some background effects in Illustrator.

This work was published a couple of days, I did it to illustrate an article about the triathlon sport that takes place every year here Mazatlan. Unlike many other works from one day to another regularly assigned me, this case if I took more time both at work and at home. We had to do much sketching and planning, from the composition of the page outline, the design of each character separately, until the final drawing and vector editing color post. Also, on the other hand had to be conceptually define very clearly what it wanted to communicate with the editor and graphic designer.
This case in particular was very attractive by the time he could spend, and all the space I had at the site, and it was part of many characters, that it helped mas divertido.

It was necessary to make much sketching and planning, from the composition of the page in broad strokes, the design of each character separately, to drawn up final in vectors and the edition of color. Also, on the other hand it was necessary to define conceptually in a very clear way how to communicate what the note speaks a bout, along with the graphic design editor and designer.
This case in particular was very attractive becouse all the time and all the space that I had in the page, and also for the involving the design of so many characters in the composition. It was hard but very fun to work .

Firex Smoke Alarm Always Beeps

I designed these characters for a special report last week, the note discusses the differences between " Geeks" and " Nerds "and distinguish them. I decided to use bright colors and warm for the design of both, although the idea of \u200b\u200bthe site published Nerd is like a shadow of Geek. I much fun sketching and playing with their proportions generally base their design of curved and rounded, giving some perspective in parts. And I tried to give them a bit of humor and personality, through of the costumes, objects, postures and gestures.

I --------------------- These special characters for a newspaper article last week, the note Speaks of the Differences between "Geeks" and "Nerds" and Distinguishing Them. I Decide to use very live and warm colors for the design of both, although in the idea of the published page the Nerd is like a shade of the Geek. I had lot of fun sketching them and playing with its proportions, generally i based their design on the curved and round forms, giving them a little perspective in some parts. I tried to give them with a little humor and personality, through the outfits, objects, postures and gestures.

3-d Images Of Enlarged Liver
Lobos and Women!
Estas son dos obras recientes que salieron publicadas by the newspaper Noroeste. As you can see, these are two very different issues, one sport (defense of the crown Lobos basketball team), and the other a serious issue such as psychological abuse against women (for women's day).
For an editorial illustrator (in the service which is illustrated) is very important to vary in their visual styles, as different sections involving different types of readers and the same notes arise with multiple approaches, and do all the work with same style as always, would speak to all audiences and any issue is always the same voice and tone. Which, although highlights the style of the illustrator and consolidated, on the other hand it holds tight and do just what he pleases or to use only that you have mastered the technique, leaving a secondary level the communicative purpose of illustration and commitment to the reader. That is, I think, the real challenge which the editorial illustrator must face every day ... every day is a new and different task, an adventure that is not repeated.
These two examples show two different styles not only in aesthetics and image processing (digital and traditional), conceptually if not respond to two types of approach and representation for readers according to each case. Both, I think that help enrich the visual variety of publication, and in my personal case to explore and play with other techniques, be versatile and have the ability to solve a wide range of visual problems and not be limited to only certain types of work, or to just always do what I like to illustrate or give me the same style everything assigned to me. This illustration originally had begun to do for the event "The saint is my devotion," but due to time and planning issues in the process I decided it a poster for the series of my page http://www.danielteran.com/ . So soon, this and other posters will be available in limited edition graaande size.
"Light of the Holy" is the title of this work and the technique I used was ink in all strokes and colors in PSD. I lot of sketching to achieve this result, and much design for the stage and composition. I thoroughly enjoyed doing this work because, unlike my other works, this was more free, I had more time to plan better the colors, lights and shades, as well as the composition. It had been a while since I had the luxury of making an illustration that took me several days. It's the best, power, review the work and sketch and sketch again, of course, when you can devote the time you want, but also good daily challenge against the clock.

This is an illustration that was published today in the magazine "Healthy Life". The note talks about people who are bipolar, so we decided to make a kind of double face or changing table, play with the idea of \u200b\u200bsudden extreme changes in mood and express through gestures. Long time no working with prismacolor and this case I think it lent itself well to use them as both the stroke and type of color I think that helped spread the distortion and intensity characteristic of bipolarity.

These are some characters I did for a picture of health and thyroid problems, was published last week in the newspaper Noroeste. Again, the assignment had to be in black and white, the designer offered me the idea of \u200b\u200bbalance and I found attractive, using extreme characters Laurel and Hardy wanted to give a humorous touch to the characters to help break the monotony out of conventionality with which it is customary to handle such issues. Eh seen very good posts and great work of colleagues here in Mexico and elsewhere. I look forward to meeting new talent and to share my work. thanks for stopping by! Greetings! This little illustration was published a couple of weeks ago, I did for an article that talks about some financial support given to sport here Mazatlan despite the good level and interest that athletes show. The idea was to put the character trying to achieve the goal to accomplish the exchange, or money, and stop the hands that represent the lack of support they are prevented from reaching their goal. I tried to give a lot of movement to composition and dynamism to the scene to help better communicate the despair and frustration felt by these athletes to the lack of support.
